The whole point of those associations is that the street stays tidy, so nearly all of them restrict how long anything can sit at the curb, and a good number prohibit a visible curb pile entirely. That collides head-on with how junk normally leaves a house here: your Republic Services trash account offers a curbside bulk pickup, but it only runs every other week, which means an old couch or a garage's worth of stuff has to sit out for days waiting — exactly the thing your CC&Rs were written to prevent.
The rules aren't uniform, either. A Las Vegas master plan is carved into sub-associations, and the precise curb-staging window and pile limits vary from one to the next — one village gives you 24 hours before pickup, another none at all. Trying to time a bulk day to whichever rule governs your street is a headache. The clean answer is simply to never create the pile.

Almost certainly not for long. Read your community's CC&Rs and you'll usually find a clause on bulk items and curb staging — often something like "no furniture, appliances, or debris may be placed at the curb except within 24 hours of a scheduled collection," and in stricter sub-associations, a flat prohibition on visible piles. Meanwhile the collection that's supposed to clear it, Republic's every-other-week curbside bulk pickup, caps out at a 6-foot item limit, one major appliance per bulk day, everything out by 5:00 a.m., and crews that won't come onto your property (bulk line: 702-735-5151). Freon appliances need a separate appointment on top of that.
Stack those two facts together and the gap is obvious: the only free option requires a multi-day curb pile the association forbids, capped at sizes that don't fit a real cleanout. That's the exact space we fill. Usable furniture, appliances, and household goods are routed to donation — Goodwill of Southern Nevada, Deseret Industries, and Habitat for Humanity ReStore — with a tax receipt available; metal and appliances are recycled (refrigerant recovered first); and only the true remainder goes to Republic's Apex Regional Landfill. All of it, the donation runs and the disposal, is inside your one flat price with no Nevada sales tax added on.
