It's overwhelmingly young families in brand-new single-family homes, and that stage of life produces two very specific jobs. The first is move-in debris: a fresh closing leaves the two- or three-car garage stacked with flattened moving cartons, foam corner blocks, shrink wrap, wardrobe boxes, and the dresser or sofa that looked fine in the last place and doesn't fit the new floor plan. The second arrives a year or two later — the first garage cleanout, once the space that was meant for two cars is holding strollers, bikes, holiday bins, and a treadmill that turned into a coat rack.
Both run into the same wall. Skye Canyon is master-plan HOA country, and a pile of debris left at the curb is a violation waiting to happen. There are no basements out on the frontier — it's desert slab — so everything accumulates in the garage and the side yard, and that's exactly where we work. We walk in, carry it out, and load the truck. You never drag a thing to the street, and the flat, photo-quoted price already covers the labor, the disposal, and the long drive up to the northwest edge. Not without risking it. Skye Canyon homes get Republic Services collection like the rest of the valley, and that includes a curbside bulk pickup bundled with your trash service (call 702-735-5151) — but the fine print doesn't fit a new-build garage. It runs every other week, caps out at a 6-foot item limit and one major appliance per bulk day, everything has to be at the curb by 5:00 a.m., and crews will not step onto private property to grab anything. A garage packed with moving cartons, an old sectional, and a fridge simply doesn't qualify — and freon appliances need a separate scheduled appointment on top of that.
On top of the county limits, your HOA has its own rules about how long anything can sit out front, so staging a debris pile at the curb to wait for the next bulk day is the fast way to a violation letter. That's the gap we close. We schedule the pickup around you, come to the garage, and haul the whole load — boxes, old furniture, the fridge, all of it — in one flat-priced trip, with nothing left at the curb in between. Anything still usable goes to Goodwill of Southern Nevada, Deseret Industries, or a Habitat ReStore before the rest heads to the landfill.
