First, the loft condos: The Ogden, Juhl, and SoHo Lofts turn over between owners and renters, and like any high-rise they require a Certificate of Insurance naming building management before a vendor can touch the freight elevator or loading dock, with the elevator reserved for a window. Second, the 18b Arts District: warehouses, galleries, studios, and breweries that reset between shows and tenants, on a calendar built around First Fridays and load-outs. Third, Fremont East, the Medical District, and the older single-family pockets: small-business FF&E, storefront fixtures, and home clear-outs alike.
What ties it together is that none of it can be dragged to a curb and left — the lofts exit through a dock, the galleries share commercial dumpsters, and the storefronts are on tight downtown streets. So we do the carrying. We issue the COI, book the elevator, and haul the furniture and fixtures out through the right door, priced to one flat number from a photo, with no high-rise or after-hours surcharge and no Nevada sales tax on the service.

The suburban "set it out for bulk day" routine simply doesn't exist here. Loft towers move everything through a loading dock and freight elevator — building rules require a COI and a reserved window, and management will stop a crew that doesn't have one. Arts District warehouses and Fremont storefronts are on commercial dumpster service, not residential bulk, so Republic's curbside program never applies, and its residential bulk pickup is every other week, 6-foot-limited, curbside-only, and won't enter private property even where it does run. Add First Fridays and event crowds and there's nowhere to stage a pile anyway.
