Republic's curbside bulk pickup comes with the trash service, but the rules leave a lot of Sunrise Manor jobs out. It runs on a set schedule with a 6-foot item limit and one major appliance per bulk day, everything has to be at the curb by 5:00 a.m., and — the part that catches renters and anyone without a truck — crews won't step onto private property, so a couch you can't drag to the street simply doesn't get taken. Fridges and AC units with freon need a separate scheduled appointment on top of that.
When you've got a full garage, a move-out on a deadline, a mobile-home lot to clear, an upstairs apartment, or a fridge and a mattress to lose the same day, the free program just doesn't fit.
